​​​​​​​Dr. Richard Miller

After living in various states and countries, Dr. Miller is happy to return home to his native Maryland where his family has lived for over 5 generations. Dr. Miller began his eye care journey in 2007, when he became an apprentice to Dr. Harry Wachs, an expert and pioneer in vision development theories and treatments. After 5 years under his tutelage, Dr. Wachs encouraged Dr. Miller to further his studies in the field and earn his optometry degree, which he completed at the Illinois College of Optometry. In 2016 Dr. Miller was awarded lifetime membership in the Gold Key Honor Society, an honor only given to 10% of students in each graduating class. Dr. Miller is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Maryland Optometric Association, and is a past president of the Anne Arundel County Optometric Society. He currently resides in Annapolis with his two sons. He spends his spare time at the Baltimore-Annapolis Kendo Dojo and is active in the local community theater scene. ​​​​​​​
